Exodus 10:2 "....that you may tell your children and grandchildren how I dealt harshly with the Egyptians and how I performed my signs among them, and that you may know that I am the Lord."

God told Moses that his miraculous experiences with Pharaoh should be retold to his descendants. What stories Moses had to tell! Living out one of the greatest dramas in Biblical history, he witnessed events few people would ever see. It is important to tell our children about God's work in our past and to help them see what he is doing right now. What are the turning points in your life where God intervened? What is God doing for you now? Your stories will form the foundations of your children's belief in God.

One turning point in my life was when the Lord called me home to be a keeper at home and to school the children. I could definitely see the Lord at work in all of our decisions and it completely changed the path our family was on.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I really want to give God the glory for healing Faith. About 500 children have had the same surgery she had for her seizures BUT out of those 500, Faith remains ONE of SIX children who are seizure-free and off seizure medication. That's what you call a modern-day miracle! Since Faith doesn't really remember much about that time period in her life, I want to constantly remind her and the rest of the children what the Lord has done in her life! Praise God!
